Caine faces two formidable foes: a remorseles, iron-willed woman who was once his grandfather's lover. And three highly trained Chinese warriors; one of whom knows how to summon forth 
demon fighters.

3. A Small Beheading
Homeward bound? A sea captain (William Shatner) presents Caine a pardon from the emperor that will allow the priest to return to China if Caine agrees to submit to a small punisment: the 
removal of a fingertip.
