Ep. 1: Fight or Flight
Continuing from season 3's shocking finale, the officers receive news that although Shell's body was never found in the Spanish waters, Denny has been found alive. Meanwhile, Karen has second thoughts about her engagement to Jim, Josh decides to come clean about Crystal's virgin pregnancy and Yvonne refuses to put-up with more years for Virginia's death - leading her to drastic measures. 

Ep. 2: Unholy Alliances
New PO Barry Pearce arrives on G-Wing and looks set to become Di's latest obsession. Along with Barry, new Governor Neil Grayling looks set to challenge G-Wing's established order and Karen decides to continue to protect Jim, even though he now provides a direct competition to her own role. 

Ep. 3:Behind Closed Doors
As Jim continues to play power games with Maxi, a new fact is discovered which drives him to ask Yvonne for help. Shaz and Barbara try to influence Di's big decision, but all is not well between Barry and Di. 

Ep. 4: Fait Accompli
Denny returns to Larkhall and looks like she may be the solution to Yvonne's troubles, as two new inmates arrive, Cassie Tyler and Roisin Connor, who find it hard to adjust to prison life.
