Offshore radio Caroline from shipwreck to salvation
20th November 1991. Caroline are off the air, have a ship stuck on the Goodwin Sands and seemingly a bleak future lies ahead. Somehow, the decade which started with a cynical piece of legislation aimed directly at the station ended with the Ross Revenge being salvaged and restored, used as a broadcasting base and Caroline broadcasting on Satellite.
For the first time, Peter Moore talks candidly about the struggle to keep Caroline alive and afloat during the 1990s. Revealing, humorous and extremely candid, this interview is complimented by previously unseen footage of Ross Revenge, which is celebrating its fiftieth birthday in 2010.
